I did very well at CVS this weekend. Walked in with $14.99 ECBs and pennies in my pocket and walked out with $66.56 ECBs and $251.30 worth of stuff!
Here's how I did it on Saturday:
Deal: Buy one Revlon Limited Edition cosmetic at $9.99 (on sale from $11.99), get $9.99 ECBs
I got one one each of my cards (I have two, one for me and one "for my husband"), used a $2/1 MC on each and paid with $7.99 in ECBs for one and $7 ECBs for the other.
Total OOP: .99
Total ECB profit: $18.98
Deal: buy $10 of select candy, get $5 ECBs.
Special of the week: Lifesavers were BOGO
I used BOGO coupons over which I had engaged in bidding wars on eBay, trading games on Hotcouponworld, and had lucked into finding someone giving away a few free ones. I ended up with 33 BOGO coupons to buy 66 peg bags of lifesavers of all varieties.
Total OOP: .00
Total ECBs gained: 30.00

And today, Sunday, I went back for more:
On my "husband's" card, I got:
Used these coupons:
Total OOP: .06
Total ECBs gained: $14.58 ($5.79 for each Advil children's medicine, an August deal, and $1.50 for each Oral B toothbrush, a weekly deal).
On "my" card:
Coupons used:
Total OOP: -.15 (it's negative because the cashier took the whole $5 ECB off, instead of adjusting it--but, hey, I'm not complaining! It lessened my tax oop!)
Total ECBs gained: $2 (for Colgate toothpaste, weekly deal)
