A mommy-blogging friend of mine has pointed me to some very awesome drinks. The non-alcoholic kind.
When I was preggers, I was nauseated a LOT, especially during my second trimester, and I even have some good throwing-up-on-customers and barfing-all-over-the-steering-wheel-while-driving stories. I didn't take regular pre-natal vitamins, either, because I'm a wuss and can't swallow
pills.
This drink looks like it would help with the nausea--and provide vitamins, too! Not only is it endorsed by the American Pregnancy Association, you can get "mocktail" recipes on their website! How cool is that?
Now, what is this miracle drink, you may ask. Does it taste like crap? Is it expensive?
Answer: Glow Mama is the drink.
It is a refreshing flavoured drink that isn't too sweet--it's filled with essential vitamins, minerals and fiber. It is a hydrating drink with the crisp taste of kiwi. Did I mention the mocktails? And you can win a two-week supply by entering the contest over at Babyfingers! How's that for cost!?
